🠈  Bountiful, Utah  🠊

Bountiful was established by Perrigrine Sessions on September 27, 1847. It was the second LDS Settlement by the LDS pioneers after Salt Lake City, making it officially the second oldest town in Utah. Mr. Sessions had eight wives and fifty five children. Six of his wives and 41 of his children preceded Perrigrine at his death in 18932.

With inspiring views of the Great Salt Lake and convenient access to downtown Salt Lake City, Bountiful developed a reputation as a bedroom community. It had been the largest town in Davis County until 1985 when it was surpassed by Layton. The population of Bountiful was 42,552 in the 2010 census.
