🠈  Kaysville, Utah  🠊

Kaysville was first settled by Hector Haight who built a cabin in 1850 along Kay's Creek which was named for William Kay who was an LDS Bishop in the vicinity.

Kaysville grew rapidly and, in 1868, became the first city incorporated in Davis County.

The original boundaries included Layton (to the North) which chose to become a separate city in 1880.

By 2010, the population of Kaysville has grown to 27,300 and is estimated to have grown to over 30,000 by 2015.
