🠈 Clearfield, Utah 🠊
The area of Clearfield was one of the last places to be developed in Davis County. The area was originally known as Sand Ridge and lacked a natural water supply.
The development of canals in 1884 opened the area for farming and Clearfield was eventually incorporated in 1922.
Clearfield experienced rapid development with the arrival of Hill Air Force Base during the second World War and has grown to over 30,000 residents by 2010.
