Woods Cross is town in Davis County between Bountiful, West Bountiful, North Salt Lake and the Great Salt Lake.
The town was named for Mormon Pioneer Daniel Wood (October 16, 1800 - April 15, 1892). The area has seen rapid growth in recent decades due to infilling along the Wasatch Front.
The 1950 population was 273. The 2010 population was 9,761. The 2015 population estimates was 11,284.
